Douglas R. Krenz is President and Owner of Rice, Davis, Daley and Krenz. Doug has over 30 years in the insurance business and is a third generation insurance agent. He holds licenses in Property and Casualty and Life, Accident and Health. He is also the Manager of the Commercial Lines Department and specializes in Operations. Doug has worked all aspects of the Independent Insurance Agency and in 1978 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hartwick College. Doug earned the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter in 1985, Certified Insurance Counselor in 1989 and Certified Risk Manager in 2003. In addition, Doug is a Commercial pilot, Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor. He is a flight instructor with Premier Flight Center at Brainard Airport in Hartford, CT., and flies charters for Tradewind Aviation out of Waterbury, CT. Doug is a past Board of Finance member for the Town of Middlefield and a member of the Coginchaug Benchwarmers. He lives in Durham, CT with his wife.

MARY ANN KRENZ, CIC

Mary Ann is Vice President of Rice, Davis, Daley and Krenz as well as Manager of the Personal Lines Department and a Sales Representative. Her insurance experience includes most aspects of the Independent Agency including Customer Service Representative, Claims and Inside Sales. She started her career in the insurance industry over 27 years ago after serving in the United States Air Force. Mary Ann is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor in 1991. She is currently an undergraduate at the University of New Haven in the Henry C. Lee School of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, majoring in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Investigative Services. Mary Ann holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Middlesex Community College where she graduated with the highest honors, and she is also the recipient of the George Dingwall award for Academic Excellence in her field of study. Mary Ann is an active member of her community athletic booster club, the Coginchaug Benchwarmers. She and her husband are residents of Durham, CT.

Tara is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and has been a Commercial Lines Customer Service and Sales Representative with Rice, Davis, Daley and Krenz for 4 years. She has been in the insurance industry for well over 10 years and has earned the designations of A.I.S. (Associate in Insurance Service), and A.A.I. (Advisor in Insurance), holds a Certificate of General Insurance and is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University. Tara resides in Colchester, CT. with her husband and daughter.

Michael joined Rice, Davis, Daley and Krenz following his graduation in 2005 from Eastern Connecticut State University. He is a licensed Property and Casualty agent and works in Commercial Lines Client Services Department as a Customer Service and Sales Representative. Michael has begun to pursue the C.I.C. (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. Recently Michael has been named as the Assistant Head Coach for E.C.S.U. Men's Basketball team and is a member of the Benchwarmers Athletic Booster club of Durham/Middlefield. He resides in Middletown, CT.

A licensed agent, Sandra has shared duties as a Claims Representative, Flood Specialist and Personal Lines Customer Service and Sales Representative. Sandra has prior experience as a Commercial Customer Service Representative, as well as a past real estate licensee, rounding out her insurance knowledge. Jim has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years. He is the Manager of the Financial Services Department, specializing in Group & Individual Health, Life Insurance and Financial Planning, and is licensed in Life, Accident and Health, Property & Casualty, and Securities. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Correctional Research from Northeastern University and a Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychotherapy from the University of New Haven. Prior to joining Rice, Davis, Daley and Krenz, Jim was a Senior Connecticut State Parole Officer for the State of Connecticut. Jim is active member of ST. Coleman's church and the parish counsil. He and his family have been residents of Durham, CT for the past 30 years.

Fred joined Rice, Davis, Daley & Krenz in September 2004 and has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years, including 12 years as the Owner Manager of a local Allstate Agency. He is a 1986 graduate of Central Connecticut State University and holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Finance. Fred is also a Graduate of the Hartford School of Insurance with certificates in Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance. He has been a member of the Middletown Rotary for 5 years and is a coach for recreational athletics in his community. Fred and his family have been residents of Higganum, CT for the past 10 years.

Harold has worked in insurance for over 40 years with Rice, Davis, Daley & Krenz and is currently Senior Account Executive of the Commercial Lines Department. He holds licenses in both Life and Health and Property and Casualty, and earned the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Mr. Neun holds an Associates Degree in Accounting from Bentley College. Prior to joining R.D.D.K., Harold was the owner of the East Side Market in Meriden for 20 years. He has been actively involved in St. John Lutheran Church for the past 38 years including being their Treasurer. Harold and his wife of over 57 years reside in Middlefield, CT.
